Mindthreads is a keyboard-first Mac app for the parallel things you're holding in your head. Capture a thread in a keystroke, see what's aging, and never lose one to an interruption again.
Opening it the first time
This build isn't notarized by Apple yet, so macOS will say it can't check it for malicious software. After you drag Mindthreads to Applications and open it once, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. You only need to do this once.
See what's aging
Every card shows how long it has been in flight. Colors warm from teal to magenta the longer a thread goes untouched, and neglected threads start to pulse.
Threads within threads
Tangents become child threads, as deep as you need. Switch between a free canvas, a hierarchy, a mind map and a grid sorted by last touched.
Hands stay on the keyboard
Single keys when you're not typing: n new, c child, t touch, x complete, / search. Every binding is yours to change.
Your data, your database
Threads live in a local SQLite file by default, or in any Postgres database you point it at, so two Macs can share one list.

Mindthreads runs an MCP server on your Mac. Agents can list what you're juggling, open threads for work they start, and complete them when they're done. Their changes show up on your canvas as they happen.
